      Safe Drive Stay Alive

Year 12 students attended the annual ‘Safe Drive, Stay Alive’ event run by Sussex Police.

The afternoon is aimed at young adults who will be starting to learn to drive themselves, or start being passengers with friends. It highlights the dangers on the roads and what young adults should be aware of when getting in a car either as a passenger or driver.

      British Heart Foundation Bag-A-Thon

Felpham takes part in this initiative every year as one of the first charity events in the school calendar. Co-ordinated by the sixth form charity committee; a huge variety of goods were collected including clothes, shoes, curtains, blankets, bric-a-brac, books, games and toys. Over 100 bags were filled and collected. This should hopefully equate to an impressive amount of money when sold in local BHF shops. All proceeds from the shops help towards the pioneering research, prevention, support and ensure quality care to anyone who lives with heart disease

Marketing & Advertising Day at AIP Media in Brighton

Students found out how AIP operate and how advertising campaigns are planned and delivered to clients. They had an opportunity to design and present their ideas of a real life advertising campaign. It gave everyone valuable insight into the world of marketing and advertising and allowed discussion for the career paths that are available.
